Are you passionate about fresh produce and plant-based food/beverages?
We’re Moxxy, a marketing agency specializing in agriculture, fresh produce and related industries. We’ve been around 13 years. We have a small but mighty team. Our clients and team members are located around the country.
Business is booming and we need help making sure we continue to provide the exceptional service and quality, strategic and creative excellence, that got us this far.
We’re strategic. Bold. A little crazy. We’re not order takers. We ask tough questions. We challenge our clients. We motivate and support each other to excel, and don’t accept mediocrity. We value open communication and embrace constructive feedback. If we haven’t scared you off yet, keep reading!
We are seeking a client-focused, self-motivated, exceptional account supervisor, skilled in integrated marketing programs, to join our team. The successful person in this role will support assigned clients, ensure we exceed expectations, and grow revenue from existing clients. We expect the account supervisor to attain these goals by expertly managing clients’ marketing programs to achieve extraordinary results; presenting them with exciting ways to grow their business; and building relationships that not only endure, but also inspire referrals.
Every account and every project are supported by a team, so there are always at least two or three Moxxers prepared to jump in. Moxxy has operated in a virtual environment since before others were forced to temporarily work from home. We’ll meet in person a few times per year, but on a daily basis, we work together, but apart, from our home offices. Our systems are cloud based, and we have daily internal and client video meetings.
While we are seeking an account supervisor in the Miami area to service primarily East Coast clients, during the first year of employment while learning the ropes and getting up to speed as a new Moxxer, some of the daily work will be done during Pacific time zone business hours, as that’s where half of our team is based. This will shift over time and as the account supervisor is able operate more independently, with the goal of operating in East Coast time zone within a year.
This is a full-time, 5-day-per-week, 40+ hours-per-week staff position. Once we return to normal travel, plan on at least 25% of your time being on-the-road visiting clients and overseeing their programs, attending conferences, and meeting with the Moxxy team. The job requires reliability and some schedule flexibility to work past 5:30 pm Pacific time, when deadlines require it.
This is a great job for someone with 8-12 years of integrated advertising agency experience looking for increased responsibility, deeper exposure to more strategic marketing assignments, and a career path at a fast-paced marketing/advertising agency. If your experience is all or mostly digital, this is not the job for you—Moxxy’s clients deal very much in the physical world, where packaging, instore merchandising and tradeshows rule. The ideal candidate will have experience activating retailer and shopper marketing programs for fresh produce clients. If you have CPG experience, that’s a good base from which to learn, and we can teach you about fresh produce. We haven’t had the greatest luck with people who only have in-house marketing experience, but if you think you can convince us you’re the exception, what are you waiting for?
You must love wearing lots of different hats; pride yourself on your strategic marketing prowess; recognize and be excited to cultivate creative excellence; be willing to roll up your sleeves and do the work; embrace a team environment; and thrive in a vibrant and hard-charging atmosphere.
Send us your resume, salary requirements and a cover letter demonstrating your enthusiasm for the job and your phenomenal communications skills!
