We are seeking a client-focused, self-motivated, exceptional account supervisor or director, skilled in integrated marketing programs, to join our team. The successful person in this role will develop and lead the marketing programs for assigned clients on the East Coast, and ensure we exceed expectations and grow revenue from these existing clients. We expect the account supervisor/director to attain these goals by expertly anticipating clients’ needs; managing clients’ marketing programs to achieve extraordinary results; presenting them with exciting and strategically-sound ways to grow their business; and building relationships that not only endure, but also inspire referrals.

Moxxy operates in a virtual environment. We meet in person a few times per year, but on a daily basis, we work together, but apart, from our home offices. Most team members live and work on the Central Coast of California and in South Florida. Our systems are cloud based, and we have daily internal and client video meetings.

While we are seeking an account supervisor/director in Florida (Miami-area preferred) to service primarily East Coast clients, during the first year of employment while learning the ropes and getting up to speed as a new Moxxer, some of the daily work will be done during Pacific time zone business hours, as that’s where some of our team is based and collaboration with them is necessary. This will shift over time and as the account supervisor/director is able operate more independently, with the goal of operating primarily in the East Coast time zone within 6 months.

This is a full-time, 5-day-per-week staff position. It is a leadership role, and up to 25% of your time could be spent traveling to visit clients and work on their programs, attend conferences, and meet with the Moxxy team. The job requires reliability and schedule flexibility.

This is a great job for someone with 10 years of integrated advertising agency experience looking for increased responsibility, deeper exposure to more strategic marketing assignments, and a career path at a fast-paced marketing/advertising agency. While a working knowledge of digital marketing is important, if your experience is all or mostly digital, this is not the job for you—Moxxy’s clients deal very much in the physical world, where packaging, in-store merchandising and tradeshows rule.

The ideal candidate will have experience activating retailer and shopper marketing programs for fresh food clients. If you have CPG experience, that’s a good base from which to learn, and we can teach you about fresh food. We haven’t had the greatest luck with people who only have in-house marketing experience, but if you think you can convince us you’re the exception, what are you waiting for?

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients

• Handle day-to-day activities for assigned clients

• Lead team in preparing client proposals, marketing communications and strategic marketing plans, media and public relations plans

• Coordinate with president/CEO, account team and creative team to select and procure outside purchases and freelance services

• Prepare job estimates and proposals and present to clients for approval

• Lead the development of marketing strategies, creative and content/copy

• Oversee activation/execution of approved programs/jobs

• Provide designers, production, media, public relations and web personnel and freelancers with well-documented input, support data and production materials to ensure project strategies and deliverables are clearly defined

• Lead client meetings

• Proactively monitor all aspects of job profitability

• Keep apprised of clients’ brands/products/services/marketing developments

• Represent the agency at industry functions—promoting the agency at every opportunity
