Introducing a 37-Year Old Company
Over nearly four decades, Uesugi Farms had quietly grown into one of the largest pepper growers in the world, yet they still had their original hand drawn logo and no website. As Pete and Joe Aiello wanted to establish their own retail brand and continue their expansion, they realized it was time to upgrade their image.
Research Built the Brand
We began with customer perception research to assess their standing with their buyers. The insights gleaned here helped guide the strategy. We designed a new logo and brand identity that is bright and bold, but still reflects their humble, farming roots.
We then consistently applied the new brand across everything from letterhead, email signatures, and business cards to a new monument sign for their home ranch and a huge sign for their cooler.
Website, Packaging and Sales Materials
Uesugi Farms now has a Moxxy designed and programmed responsive website that well represents their scale and leadership position in the industry. New field–pack cartons, bags, trays and Display Ready Cartons (DRCs) have been created to extend the brand across all their crops and establish a recognizable retail brand.
Telling the Story
Uesugi Farms is quiet no more, as Moxxy has used regular trade ads and public and media relations (PR) story placements to effectively keep their name and brand in front of their customers.
