We love wine—and winning!
Our work designing and building a website for Valley Farm Management has been recognized by Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) with a 2020 American Web Design Award.
Operated by a third-generation farming family, Valley Farm Management is a full-service vineyard management company that produces premium winegrapes. They oversee more than 3,000 acres, both on the company’s own land and through contracts with other landowners.
“When Valley Farm Management entrusted the development of their website to us, they were looking for an eye-catching visual aesthetic, but also a sales tool that would give their business a competitive edge,” said Moxxy Vice President Molly Briseño. “One of the site’s useful features is an interactive map of the American Viticultural Areas (AVAs) where the company has operations. Visitors can click on an area, and then on a ranch link, to get specific information on the grapes grown there, including details like varietal, rootstock, acreage, and number of vines.”
Beyond developing the website, we also redesigned and modernized Valley Farm Management’s logo bringing new life to a nearly 50-year-old image.
“We’re excited that the Moxxy team has been recognized for their great work,” said Valley Farm Management President and CEO Jason Smith. “Collaboration in creating the site is the basis of its success. The team at Moxxy did an exceptional job of listening and understanding our needs and then translating that into a finished product that tells our story with beautiful pictures, the right voice, and a functional and easy-to-navigate site. Congratulations to Moxxy for recognition of a job well done!”
“Valley Farm Management traces its roots back to 1973, when the company was founded in Monterey County’s Santa Lucia Highlands,” added Molly. “Consequently, our work on the website and logo was a bit of a balancing act. But the Moxxy creative team succeeded in paying homage to the organization’s long history while also creating a fresh, vibrant look and powerful functionality. It was a pleasure to partner with the incredible people at Valley Farm Management and an honor to have our work recognized by GDUSA.”
