Extraordinary Variety Grown and Packed at New State-of-the-Art Facility in Ecuador
Miami, FL, October 2, 2025 — Tropical fruit grower and importer Tierra Suelta, one of the largest suppliers of Red and Yellow Dragon Fruit, is now preparing to ship their first loads of premium Golden Dragon Fruit.

Growing on approximately 400 hectares of high-density orchards with their farming partner in Ecuador, Tierra Suelta invested significantly in developing and building a state-of-the-art packing facility dedicated to Dragon Fruit. The new packing facility is Global GAP and Primus certified, and is already processing five to seven containers per week.
“We chose to build our new packing facility adjacent to the orchards so we can maximize freshness, maintain cold chain integrity, and ship the highest quality fruit,” said Adrian Abreu, CEO. “We have automated processing, and pack by hand to ensure it reaches North American retailers and consumers in pristine condition.
